Welcome

Welcome to Virginia Green! Your lawn is an important investment and the care of it should be left to the experts at Virginia Green. Serving Richmond and the Williamsburg area, our lawn care programs are designed specifically for Central Virginia.

Seasonal Information for Spring:

We are now into the full swing of spring. The rain is falling, the flowers are blooming and the grass is growing. This is a good time to have an Ornamental Bed Weed control treatment. This treatment will control the weeds in your beds. Your irrigation systems should be up and running, if not now is the time to get that done. You need to be watering 11/2 inches per week. That's about ¾ of an inch per zone. The watering should be done in the early morning so the water can penetrate the soil and the leaves to dry before it gets too hot. Your mower should be set on the highest setting 3-31/2 inches; this will help the grass retain the most amount of water.
