Seven Treatment Applications
- Warm Season One - Late January through March
Our first visit promotes control of existing winter annual weeds. Application consists of pre-emerge weed control for annual grasses and broadleaf weeds, and post-emerge weed control of existing winter annual weeds. - Warm Season Two - March through April
The second visit will improve color as well as density. Application consists of pre-emerge weed control for annual grasses and broadleaf weeds, post-emerge weed control of existing winter annual weeds, and fertilizer to promote early spring green up of dormant turf. - Warm Season Three - April through June
This third visit maintains color and provides consistent growth throughout the summer. Application consists of fertilizer to promote rapid green up of turf and post-emerge weed control as necessary. - Warm Season Four - Late June through August
Our fourth visit will maintain color and promote growth in the summer. Application consists of fertilizer and post-emerge weed control as necessary. - Warm Season Five - August through September
The fifth visit in this program is an application of fertilizer containing nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium to maintain color throughout the fall. - Warm Season Six - October through November
This sixth application contains fertilizer with high amounts of potassium to protect turf grass throughout the winter. - Warm Season Seven - November through December
This final application of the year applies fertilizer containing high amounts of potassium to protect warm season grasses, as well as a liquid application of post-emerge weed control for winter annuals.
