It is called Poa annua, and Virginia Green Lawn Care offers a supplemental treatment for this grassy weed. Due to the life cycle of this weed, treatment needs to take place in late November or early December. OCTOBER PROPERTY OF THE MONTH WINNER!
Virginia Green is a little late in announcing the winner for the October Property of the Month program, but we are very excited to announce the Bartlett family from Chesterfield as the winning property owners. The Bartletts began service with Virginia Green in 2005 on our Premium Lawn Care program, and they also aerated and overseeded their lawn. In 2006 the Bartlett family switched to our more extensive Estate Lawn Care program, and that is the program that they remain on to date.
 As always this was a hard decision with many beautiful properties to choose from. As the winning property owners the Bartletts will receive a $50.00 credit toward their service, and their technician Lance will also receive a gift card. We always love to receive nominations from the homeowners themselves and would encourage you to take a high-quality digital photo of your property and email it to Virginia Green Lawn Care at info@virginiagreenlawncare.com. Entries are accepted from the first to the 20th of each month with the winning property being announced in the following month’s newsletter.
