Exciting News!

We here at Virginia Green Lawn Care have decided that for the July Property of the Month, we will open up the submission process to our customers. What this means for you is this, if you feel that your lawn is deserving of the title of Virginia Green Property of the Month, we want you to send us a photo.

Please submit a high resolution photo of your property in jpeg format to the email address property@virginiagreenlawncare.com. Submissions will be accepted from June 1st through June 15th. Along with the photo we ask that you provide us with your name, address, phone number and email address. Once all of the submissions are received we will have a panel of in-house judges that will review the photos and choose the lawn that they feel is most deserving of the title - Virginia Green Property of the Month. Due to the fact that we expect a high number of responses we will not be responding to these emails.

We will contact the winning property owner prior to posting their photo in our July newsletter. As always, the winning property will receive a $50.00 credit toward a future service with Virginia Green Lawn Care.

WATER! WATER! WATER!

If you have not already been watering your lawn, please start watering immediately. Even though we have had spotty showers in most of our treatment area, we have not had enough consistent rainfall to supply the needed water to the lawns. We suggest watering 2 to 3 times a week putting out ¾ of an inch to an inch of water with each session, or until you have light puddling.
