PREPAY OFFER DEADLINE COMING UP FEBRUARY 12TH
For those Virginia Green Lawn Care customers that have not yet sent in their prepayment amount for 2010 there is still a little time left to save some money. The deadline for the prepayment is February 12th, 2010. Virginia Green customers may take advantage of this offer by mailing in a check or calling our office with credit card information. As with all of our services we accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express Cards.

TREE AND SHRUB PROGRAM NEWS
 The second treatment in our eight application Tree and Shrub Program involves a deep root fertilization of plants and small trees. This is a very important application in the program as the fertilization involves a process where a high quality solution of nutrients, is injected down into the root zone, allowing the plant to benefit immediately. Healthier trees and shrubs will flourish, and be more resistant to infestation of pests.

SOIL TEST RESULTS BEING EMAILED OUT TO CUSTOMERS
The soil testing samples that Virginia Green Lawn Care has been gathering from our Estate Lawn Care customers have been sent off to the lab for testing. As the reports showing the results are received back from the lab, Virginia Green will be emailing a copy of the report with the results to our customers. If the results show a low pH level, Virginia Green will contact the customer to discuss the results, as well as our suggested course of action regarding the lawn.
As mentioned in our last newsletter, for customers on our Premium Lawn Care Program, we are still offering to gather a soil sample from their lawn for testing for only $20.00. KEEPING YOUR YARD FREE OF DEBRIS IS IMPORTANT
The Virginia Green spray technicians have noted that there are still yards on which leaves and other debris have not been cleared. We would like to stress the importance of keeping the yard cleared for the benefit of the turf. With all of the rain and snow that we have had this winter season it has made leaf removal a difficult process, however if the leaves are left on the lawn for a length of time the turf underneath will suffer.
