UPCOMING SERVICES
Virginia Green Lawn Care will be applying the third and final fungicide application over the next two weeks, for our customers on the Estate Lawn Care program. This application will maintain the protective barrier against fungal lawn diseases present during the hot, humid summer months in our area. We do suggest that you water in this fungicide application for best results.
Once we have completed the fungicide applications we will begin lawn care application number four which is a granular application of lime. This maintenance level application of lime is designed to maintain the existing ph level in the soil. This pelletized lime application is brown in color and when held in your hand looks like dirt, making it blend in when applied to the lawn and a bit hard to see. This application does not need to be watered in. If you have not been watering your lawn and it has gone dormant, we do suggest having this application applied so that you can begin replacing the nutrients in the soil, and help the lawn get ready for fall seeding. If you are watering your lawn and have broadleaf weeds that are actively growing, the technicians will spot treat weeds along with this application.
