AUGUST LAWN OF THE MONTH WINNER
 Virginia Green Lawn Care is happy to announce the Williams family of Richmond as the August winners of our lawn of the month program. The Williams family began service with Virginia Green in 2007 and they currently subscribe to our Warm Season Lawn program. The Williams will receive a $50.00 credit toward a future service with Virginia Green, and their technician Brad will also receive a gift card for his efforts on this lawn.
If you feel that your lawn should be nominated for the lawn of the month, please submit a current photo of the property attached to an email in JPEG format, and send the email to property@virginiagreenlawncare.com. We will enter your property in the judging for that month with any other submissions. If your property is chosen we will inform you by phone or email.
SEASONAL INFORMATION
Aeration and overseeding season is in full swing and opportunities are still available to get on our schedule. We are currently scheduling for about three weeks from today but we still have plenty of time, we provide this service through the last week of October.
Water restrictions are in effect for Chesterfield County which means that you can water three days a week, on an odd/even schedule. More information can be found on the website www.chesterfield.gov.
Here is our suggestion regarding watering:
Water in the mornings of the day that you are scheduled to water
Water that same evening- this will basically be watering for the next day
For residents of Henrico County, if you use mechanical aeration and seeding for your yard, then you are able to water for 30 days following that aeration, regardless of any water restrictions. Henrico County is not currently under any mandatory water restrictions.
