LAWN OF THE MONTH PROGRAM GEARS UP AGAIN FOR 2011
Virginia Green Lawn Care is pleased to continue our Lawn of the Month program for 2011, and announce our January winner as the Detyens family of Richmond. The Detyens began service with Virginia Green in 2006, with Aeration and Overseeding and our Premium lawn care program. In 2007 they added the Premium Tree and Shrub program to their service and the lawn and landscaping looks beautiful as a result.
We always love to receive nominations from our customers. Simply take a photo of your property and attach it as a JPEG file to an email sent to property@virginiagreenlawncare.com. In the body of the email please include your name, address and phone number. If your property is chosen, you will receive a $50.00 credit toward a future service with Virginia Green Lawn Care.
MOLE ACTIVITY IN LAWNS
Some of our customers have noted mole activity in their lawns. This can be common during this time of year as it is their mating season. For customers looking for information on how to deal with these pesky creatures we suggest reviewing a website called www.themoleman.com. While our Estate Lawn Care program does include a Grub control application, this is only one of their food sources, and a grub control, while helpful for the health of the lawn, will not equal removal of moles.
