We are thrilled to announce our March Lawn of the Month winners as the weather has begun to warm up. With over 80 submissions this month, it was a tough decision because all the lawns look remarkable! If you weren’t chosen, next month is another opportunity to show off your beautiful lawn and we can’t wait to see how your lawns will progress. Remember, each month is a new chance to win $75 towards a future application. 

Hannan Family – Henrico, VA

First, we have the Hannan family coming to us from Henrico, VA. The Hannan family have been with Virginia Green for the past thirteen years and is on the Premium Lawn Care program. Thank you for being such a long time, devoted customer. We love it very much. With their submission, they stated, “I love my spring lawn. It is soo pretty.” Pretty indeed! Your lawn is absolutely astonishing. With your tree blooming at the perfect time for this photo, it allows your lawn to stand out even more. 

Gerlach Family – Glen Allen, VA

Second, we have the Gerlach family from Glen Allen, VA. The Gerlach family are on the Premium Lawn Care program and have been with Virginia Green for the past seven months. With their submission they stated, “Lawn came in very green a lot quicker than what we are used to. We receive compliments from others often. Kate has done a great job as our technician, so I want to make sure she gets some credit!” She has done a wonderful job transforming your lawn. By being a customer for only seven months, it’s shocking to see what the applications have created in a short period of time. Aeration and seeding last year indeed did the trick. 

Buhl Family – Yorktown, VA

Third, we have the Buhl family from Yorktown, VA. They have been part of the Virginia Green family for the past ten years and are Premium Lawn care customers. When they submitted their picture, they stated, “I love how the grass looks like green carpet.  Love it when I see people walk by the house and turn their head to look at the yard.” Oh, this is a lawn where you have to do a double take every time you walk past. If I looks like a green carpet, it most certainly has to feel like one. Keep up this beautiful work. Your shrubs are wonderful near the foundation of your home. 

Woodson Family – Goochland, VA

Fourth, we have the Woodson family from Goochland, VA who is on the Premium Lawn Care program and the Tree & Shrub program. With their submission they informed us, “Since using VA green my yard is lush , green and mostly weed free with no irrigation system.” There is not one weed in sight and you’re doing a great job. Your lawn goes on for miles….Being on the Tree & Shrub program will really enhance the shrubs around your foundation and your trees once they bloom. 

Redpath Family – Dunkirk, MD

Fifth, we have the Redpath family from Dunkirk, MD on the Premium Lawn Care program. The Redpath family became apart of the Virginia Green family when we acquired LSL in Waldorf, MD in February 2024. With their submission, they informed us “We love our lawn and lawn care. The grass is green and healthy, thick, and full all year, and without weeds. Since switching lawn services, this is the best our yard has looked.” This is music to our ears. We love to hear that your lawn is advancing quickly when becoming a Virginia Green customer and it’s great to hear that it’s the best your lawn has ever looked. 

Burchett Family – Midlothian, VA

Sixth, we have the Burchett family from Midlothian, VA. The Burchett family are on the Premium Lawn Care program and have been with Virginia Green for the past thirteen years. With their submission they stated saying, “Tried to wait as long as possible to cut, but the yard was too tall, green, and carpet like to resist.” We’re so glad you resisted because the beauty of your lawn is unmatched. The mowing pattern shown shows the health and thickness of your lawn. Keep mowing your wonderful lawn!

Lindholm Family – White Post, VA

Now, we have the Lindholm family from White Post, VA. The Lindholm family are on Premium Lawn Care also and have been getting Virginia Green services for the past two and half years. With their submission, they excitedly stated, “We have been Virginia Green customers for a few years now. We just love the result and the professional services you offer.  Our lawn is so green and lush…we just love it!” We’re elated to hear that you love your lawn because we love it even more! It’s wonderful to hear that you love the results and professional services that we offer because we certainly strive for the best.

Yurchak Family – Glen Allen, VA

Eighth, we have the Yurchak family from Glen Allen, VA. The Yurchak family have been with Virginia Green for the past two years and is on the Estate Lawn Care program. With their submission, they informed us, “  Look how quickly Virginia Green improved my lawn.” Within two years, it’s great to see such an impeccable improvement. We can only image what future years will display. 

Payne Family – Woodbridge, VA

Ninth, we have the Payne family coming from Woodbridge, VA. The Payne family has been with Virginia Green for the past year and is on the Premium Lawn Care program and also has the Tree & Shrub program. When including this wonderful picture of their lawn, they stated, “ This house is the original Stanley Martin Braddock Model home. We are so proud of our house and love our yard! Virginia Green is amazing we use you all of their lawn applications as well as tree and shrubs.” You really should be proud of your lawn and all the hard work and dedication you committed to over the past year. Your lawn – front and back is looking amazing! The trees around your fence really highlight your back yard and are so cool to see.

Knick Family – Colonial Heights, VA

Tenth, we have the Knick family from Colonial Heights, VA. The Knicks family is on the Estate Lawn Care program and have been with Virginia Green going on five years in May. With their submission, they mentioned, “Love the service you provide for my yard. You have amazing and friendly technicians. People will stop when we are outside and comment on how beautiful our lawn is. We always recommend Virginia Green not only for how well our lawn looks but for their excellent customer service. I have been in this house for almost 20 years. We never had grass in the back until Virginia green started their service. Now we have gorgeous thick grass. Thank you for all you do.” You’re very welcome, Knick family and thank you for all of your kind words. We’re elated to hear that you are happy with our services, and we enjoy knowing that your backyard is now one that is thick and green!

Montest Family – Culpeper, VA

Next up is the Montest family from Culpeper, VA. The Montest family have been a part of the Virginia Green family for a year and a half and are Premium Lawn Care customers.  With their submission, they said, “Love having Virginia Green take care of my lawn. I always get head turns when they walk by and compliments on how beautiful my lawn is at this time of year. I have a green lawn even through winter. Forever a Virginia green customer.” We love to hear it Montest family! “Forever a Virginia Green customer” warms our heart! The head turns you get when people walk by makes so much sense from this image alone. Your lawn has a wonderful green color this time of year. 

Saleh Family – Glen Allen, VA

Coming to us next is the Saleh family from Glen Allen, VA. The Saleh family are Premium Lawn Care customers and have been with Virginia Green for a year and a half. They had to let us know these amazing words, “I had to wait a year to write this review to give my honest review to be fair. My grass was in a very depressed shape. I tried to fix it myself, but I failed so decided to contact TruGreen and Virginia Green. TruGreen’s sales were very, very, very annoying, and just wanted to make a sale they were calling me 10 times a day. So, I decided to check Virginia Green and I’m glad I did. Their sales team only called once and they truly cared about giving me the best-needed service, they were polite and always willing to go the extra mile just to keep a customer happy. I did the full 7 annual treatments + aeration and seeding through them. Results will take some time to show so be patient. And special thanks to Robby who came a couple times to my house to make sure everything is sprayed/working properly and for giving me advice on how to cut/water the lawn.” You’re extremely kind and thoughtful Saleh family and these words mean a lot to us – truly. McCraine Family – Fredericksburg, VA

We had to come back with the McCraine family from Fredericksburg, VA who have been customers for the past 3 years. They are also on the Premium Lawn Care program. With their submission, they stated, “Huge fans of Virginia Green! We’ve used other companies before, and our grass just never flourished the way it has since we’ve been with VA Green! Our grass stayed green all winter. My favorite thing to do is to walk barefoot on the lush lawn to implement a sense of “grounding” with the earth which has been known to improve inflammation in the body. I love that it brings back memories of lying in the grass as a child looking up at the clouds to make out shapes. This military family thanks VA Green for their outstanding service to our home!!!” You’re very welcome McCraine family and thank you for your service to our country. Your lawn is looking superb! It’s something about walking barefoot on a lawn that gives you peace, joy, and excitement to just be outdoors. Aeration and Seeding last helped flourish your lawn even more. 

Scott Family – Midlothian, VA

Following the McCraine family, we have the Scott family from Midlothian, VA who is on the Premium Lawn Care program. When submitting their pictures, they said “After 4 years, I am so happy about my yard. It started off full of weeds, spotty, and not green. Look at it now. My neighbors are asking how and why lol!!!” We hope you share with them the secret of what Virginia Green can do for their lawn too:) Your lawn absolutely does not have one weed in sight and spotty where? We love to see the lawn get better and better

Doll Family – Midlothian, VA

Fifteenth, we have the Doll family from Midlothian, VA. The Doll family are Estate Lawn Care customers and have been with Virginia Green for the past five years. With their submission, they said. “ We have the pix of my lawn after the first cut of the year. My dad is proud haha” Your dad should be proud because we are. The first cut of the year brings to light what the rest of the year for your lawn will look like.

Roane Family – Springfield, VA

Sixteenth, we have Roane family coming from Springfield, VA. The Roane family have been with Virginia Green for three years and are on the Premium Lawn Care Program and Tree and Shrub. With their submission, they stated, “Once again, our yard is looking top notch this Spring so we’re submitting a photo in hopes that you’ll agree! This will be our third season as VG customers.  We could not be more pleased with the crew and the results!” We totally agree with you! We love to hear that you are pleased with our service leaders and the results. 

Seckman Family – Midlothian, VA

Look no further and you will find the Seckman family from Midlothian, VA. The Seckman family have been with Virginia Green for nine months and are on the Estate Lawn Care program. With their submission, they mentioned, “Thanks Virginia Green for making my lawn one of the greenest in my neighborhood! It looks amazing!” We can only image having one of the greenest lawns in your neighborhood can make many neighbors’ envies with green :). The deep green color of your lawn has to shock many people and we now can see why.

Shank Family – Stafford, VA

Coming to us from Stafford, VA is the Shank family. They are on the Premium Lawn Care program and have been with Virginia Green for four and half years. With the submission, they stated, “Tell me this yard doesn’t look fantastic!! The best part is walking through it barefoot. My yard looks the best it’s ever looked in the 24 years I’ve lived here. Thank you, Virginia Green!” You’re very welcome. Shank family – that’s something that we can’t tell you because your lawn looks F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C! We know it may have taken 24 years to get here, but you did it and you should be proud of your hard work in accomplishing a wonderful lawn. 

Daniel Family – Richmond, VA

The Daniel family in Richmond, VA is up next. They have been customers for two years and are on the Premium Lawn Care program. With their submission they said, “We love how thick the turf is. It has never looked this good!” We’re happy to know that it looks good now. Two years was your sweet spot and we couldn’t be any prouder of the progress of your lawn. 

Cassada Family – Ashburn, VA

Our BIG 20 is the Cassada family from Ashburn, VA. They are on the Estate Lawn Care program and have been with Virginia Green for the past four and a half years. He informed us, “Lawn looks great already coming out of the winter.  You all do a great job; your expertise and product is hands down far above the competition!  The color and thickness is fantastic and free of weeds!” Thanks, Cassada family. You’re most certainly welcome. Your lawn’s color is a nice deep green color, and we can tell your turf is thick and weed free! Having a corner lot in your neighborhood, we know 

Holder Family – Midlothian, VA

Last but not least, we have the Holder family from Midlothian, VA. The Holder family is on the Estate Lawn Care program and have been with Virginia Green for a year and a half. With their submission, they mentioned, “ Two mows in with a new season in 2024!  Thanks for your services.” You’re welcome and your lawn is one to recognize. Your mowing patterns are game changing, and they will help reduce the compaction of your soil which will help lessen heat stress during the summer months. Continue doing great!
